Vishwa Jyothi Education and Rural Development, established in 2008–09, aims to eradicate social ills such as illiteracy, child labor, and dowry in Bidar District, Karnataka. The organization focuses on administering various training programs aimed at empowering women, students, and youth. These initiatives include skill development, provision of old-age homes, self-employment programs for women and youth, child development and literacy programs, and vocational training.

OUR MISSION
We strive to bring in social change by eradicating illiteracy, dowry system, etc. while instilling a culture of self sufficiency and a healthy community with the help of various community development programs.
As a practice, every year gifts are given to the inmates of the old age home. This year also, sarees were given to the old women in the ashram. This promotes good will among the inmates and boosts their morale. Looking at the smiling faces of the old women brings lots of satisfaction to the management and the staff.
Walking aids were donated to the disabled, and they were very happy that they could walk without anyone's support. This would help them a lot in their lives.
Legal awareness is a very important aspect, especially for women who are deprived of their rights in society. Hence, we had a resource person who informed the ladies about their legal rights and raised awareness among them.
Free food is being donated to the inmates of the old age home. Serving food is one of the most noble work in society. Hence, the NGO serves food to the elderly women here.
Free shelter is being provided for the old ag people in the the shelter home.
Elders Birthday Celebration
On 8-07-2024, we celebrated the Elder's Birthday at our NGO, filling their hearts with happiness. The event was a heartfelt tribute to their wisdom and warmth, surrounded by love and laughter. It was a day of joyous reminiscence, honoring their invaluable presence in our community..jpeg)

Vishwa Jyothi Old Age Home
Vishwa Jyoti Education and Rural Development Society runs an Old Age Home in the District of Bidar to give food, clothes, shelter and basic necessities to the old people of the community..jpeg)
Women Awareness Program
This program stood as a witness to women empowerment. It also showcases the importance of every women in the development of families and villages. The major part of this event was about educating the girl child in building villages and a nation.
Taking mid day meals in Old Age Home
Every day, meals are provided by the Vishwa Jyoti Education and Rural Development Society in the Chitguppa region in the District of Bidar, Karnataka.
Tailoring Training Centre
From our NGO, we organized a one day free tailoring camp for native women in Chitguppa. More than 30 women got benefitted by this camp, and we are therefore making plans for rural women to support us by providing camps like this in the coming days.
Children Activities
The children activities are run by Vishwa Jyoti Education and Rural Development Society, which includes providing different charts and study material to kids, so that they can go to school.
